Moroccanoil Treatment - Original
What is your favorite styling product? Moroccanoil. It helps make all my blowouts silky and leaves a beautiful fragrance to accent the style.
What is your favorite non-styling product (shampoo, etc.)? My favorite non-styling products are Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner. They're perfect for most hair types, and leave the right amount of hydration without too much weight. They're perfect for those everyday shampooers.
What’s the hottest cut trend at your salon? Light and tousled beachy bobs. Asheville is such a free spirited and eclectic city, so effortless and chic styles that are easy to maintain are a timeless favorite.
What’s your favorite styling tip? Always use a heat protectant any time you use a hot tool. No damage is the best damage, I always say. I try to make sure each client that uses heat styling tools leaves the shop with some kind of heat protectant spray or serum.
What’s the hottest color trend at your salon? Sun-touched babylights and subtle balayage work is most frequent. The guests like the natural overall look, and love the fact that it's elegant and can be adjusted to the colors of the seasons.
What hair routine step do people skip that they shouldn’t? Conditioner. On male guests, especially. I've noticed they often suffer from a dry scalp and dry hair. By recommending a good conditioner, such as Paul Mitchell Tea Tree, their hair can become much more manageable and their scalp a lot healthier.
